Comhghairdeas Foireann Spraoi (Trath na gCeist) Cill Laobhain/Congratulations to the Killeevan Spraoi Quiz team who came second out of twelve teams at the Spraoi competition in Threemilehouse on Friday – this young team only missed two questions altogether but were beaten by Scoil Rois who answered all correctly – well done to Emma Corley, Annie Rose O Reilly and Jane Mc Ginn on winning the silver medals,. Maith sibh
Also representing Killeevan/Killeevan Ladies on the night were Dearbhla and Eva Hannon, Katelyn Greenan, Grainne Mc Fadden, Chloe Fallon, Estelle and Amy Lambe – it was the first time on stage for most of the girls so well done on the excellent performances -hope to see you all back next year. Oíche mór ag teacht anuas fá choinne na Sáirséalaigh óga. Tuesday 29th October will see the Anglo Celt Cup arrive in Newbliss in the company of Darren & Kieran Hughes (2013 Ulster and Senior County medal holder). Darren and Kieran will present medals and club bags will be presented to our juveniles on the night. Níos eolas le teacht/More information to follow.
