Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 3rd October:
Junior Football Championship Final: All roads lead to Scotstown this Sunday for the Junior Final between Emyvale and Blackhill. The Club would like to encourage all members and supporters to come out and support the team on Sunday. Best of luck to the management team and players.
Senior Championship Semi Final: Will be held in Emyvale on Friday night. The club are asking any club members who are free, to volunteer their time to help out with the running of the match. If interested please contact Mickey Mc Carron or be at the field for 6.30pm on Friday night.
BC Blitz: Emyvale GAA Juvenile Committee would like to thank everyone who supported the Brendan Colton Memorial Blitz on the 21st September 2013. A great day was had by all. Thank you to the Colton family for their continued support and help, to all in the local community who came to help both with stewarding the fields as well as the help with providing and serving sandwiches, burgers and sausages! Gala Night: Monaghan GAA Black Tie presentation dinner will take place in the Hillgrove Hotel on Friday November 15th as the county will celebrate the successes of 2013 when Monaghan ruled the roost in Ulster. International Rules Test: will take place in Kingspan Breffni Park on Saturday 19th October at 7 p.m. We are advising clubs of the group, pass scheme where children under 16 can pay just €3 for admission and with every 10 children 1 adult can go free. This is a wonderful opportunity for children and indeed adults to see Ireland’s finest footballers play Australia. We are asking clubs in the surrounding counties to avail of this opportunity.
