Congratulations – As they say…. “if you not in, you can’t win” and last week Sarah Mackin made sure that husband Pat bought his weekly ticket off her at the Club Stand in Supevalu. One can only imagine the surprise that Pat got when he answered the phone to Bob O Donnell late on Monday evening to be informed that his lucky numbers had actually come out of the drum and that he won the Jackpot of €11,000. Well done to Pat and Sarah, it great to see local people who have put so much into the Club over the years get something back.

Thanks a million to Sarah and her sister Olive for two great classes Sunday morning again saw another huge turnout at St. Marys Park, with the group splitting up into cyclists, walkers/beginner runners and runners for a good hours’ exercise before the Sunday dinner.
