Juniors
Scotstown 1-11
Killanny 2-12
Two shots by Steven McMahon saw the ball dip in over the Scotstown keeper’s head and into the back of the net to keep us in this league game  played in Scotstown on Sunday last. This victory strengthens our position in the top half of the table and strong contenders for a semi final place with only four games remaining .Having to start without some of our more influential players we struggled at times to get to grips with this game and a lack of fluency and composure made the job even harder. It wasn’t until the final 10 minutes that we got any sort of momentum going to score 1g 5p unanswered and hold on for a 4 points win.
Fixture
Aghabog make the trip to Pairc Eanna on Sunday next for a 1.30 start.

Under 12 DIV 2A SHIELD FINAL:
All roads led to Drumhowan on Saturday last where we played Clones/Currin in the final of the under 12 shield and came away with the silverware. The team settled quickly and hit the net early with a blistering goal from Aodhan Mc Connon who was our top scorer on the day with an impressive tally of 2-2. Another two further goals from Kian Duffy and David Leegan in the first third gave us a lead of 3-5 to 1-2 at the break. When the game resumed we played with the same drive and determination and got a further 3 goals from Cian Mc Nulty, Aodhan Mc Connon and Ronan Grimes. We also scored a number of well taken points and won the match with an impressive scoreline of 6-12 to 2-3 . All of the players  deserved their  win as they all worked very hard  and kept focused throughout the match and worked well together as a team. The cup was presented to the joint captains Darren Leegan and Ronan Grimes and there was great celebrations afterwards. A big thanks to our managers Martin Burns, Martin O’Reilly and Shane Dooley for all their hard work with the players during the year.
