Intermediate Championship

Our senior footballers went down to Tyholland in an epic battle last Saturday night in Emyvale. After taking an early lead we were eventually clawed back and defeated by a point. The Game finished on a score line, Inniskeen 0-15 Tyholland 3-07.

Hard luck to the lads and the management team, no doubt all focus will be firmly on maintaining our good start to the league and to finish with promotion.

Next up Aughnamullen away on Sat the 28th.

Juvenile Organization

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all juvenile Committee members, Managers and of course all players for the fantastic job they have all done so far this year in all codes.

Finals we have already won are: 2 X U12 football, U12 Hurling, U14 Hurling, U16 Championship.

Along with the above I am delighted to say that we are still in contention for the U16 Hurling and U 14 Division 1 titles. The Latter is taking place this Weekend in Cremartin, see below in the fixtures for details. We ask a great turnout for these young lads as the effort they have put in this year has been huge.

Again congratulations to all who have had an input in the above teams.

Truagh 0-03 Inniskeen 0-04, Sat 14th. What a year the U12 teams are having.

The hurlers competed in the shield final last Saturday against Truagh and came away victorious on the narrowest of margins 0-4 to 0-3.

Congratulations to the team and their mentors. That’s a clean sweep of 3 trophies for the U12s in one year; it’s a great achievement and a credit for the work they have put in.

U14 Div 1 final

All roads lead to Cremartin this Saturday as the U14s compete in the division 1 cup final. They are up against a very strong Monaghan Harps team but they will still be confident as they have beaten them at home in the league.

We wish them and their mentors all the best. Please come out and support this great bunch of young footballers and hopefully they will return home winners. Kickoff at 1.30pm
