Our next game in the league is against Clones on Sunday next at 1.30 in Clones. The championship game also against Clones is fixed for Sunday 15th Sept .

U 12’s

Our under 12 played in the final last Saturday and were beaten by a very strong Killanny team. This was a great achievement by a very young team, the majority of whom will be under age again next year.. Thanks to all players, management and supporters who put in a huge effort all year. It’s onwards and upwards for next year, the future is bright indeed.

U-16’s,

Our Aghabog/Currin combination play in the league final on Saturday in Aughnamullen at 2.30pm. A big support is needed once again. Best wishes to Niall, Enda and the boys.

Ladies Football.

Monaghan ladies had a super win over Galway in the All Ireland semi-final in Cavan on Saturday last. A physical Galway  side made it difficult for the Monaghan girls to get into their stride but playing excellently in the second half they ran out winners by five points. Once again Ellen made a superb contribution to this victory, scoring late on to push Monaghan ahead for a well deserved victory. Heartiest congratulations to her and Laura and all the girls. Arch rivals Cork  play Kerry in the other semi-final this Saturday.The final is to be played on Sunday 29th September.
