                                                                                  Sean’s Notes

Adult team. For supporters all roads lead to Drumhowan on Sunday next for the 1.45pm meeting with Blackhill in the Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship semi-final, at stake a place in the final against Emyvale or Oram. Little separates these two team, both their league meetings have ended in draws, the most recent just last week when our boys had to put in a sterling second half performance to overhaul a six point half time deficit and in the end settle for a share of the spoils, final score in that one Seans 1-14 Blackhill 2 -11. On Saturday they played out another league draw their 5th of the season when they travelled to Oram… Oram 1-12 Seans 1-12. For Sunday’s knock out completion though everyone involved with the squad will be hoping they can emulate the form they have shown in this completion so far; all acutely aware that it will take another five star performance on this occasion if they are to lower the Blackhill colours and book a coveted place in the final and a chance at promotion.

Under 16. Our Under 16’s travel to Donaghmoyne on this Thursday evening (29th Aug) to take on the league table topping home side in the U16 Division 1 football league semi-final, throw in is 6.30pm. Not a simple assignment but if they can produce the football we know they are capable off they may well cause and upset, landing a place in the final is not beyond them.

Minor. Our minor squad make the long journey to Killanny next Tuesday 3rd Sept for another early throw in time of 6.15pm. Winners of this one progress to the Division 2 Minor Football Championship Semi-final.

Under 8/10. After the change necessitated last week, coaching for our Under 8 and 10’s reverts to its usual time slot …  Friday evenings from 7 – 8.30pm.
