U8 Blitz this Saturday in Killanny from 9.45 to 12.00
U10 Blitz on Friday in Killanny from 6.30 to 8.30Our U12’s had a very worthwhile challenge against Donaghmoyne on Friday evening last.
Although we were missing a number of regulars it was a good opportunity to give other players an opportunity to stake a claim for a starting place with the Shield final due to take place in two weeks time. The Killanny boys were quick to settle into the game and lead by 6 points to 2 at half time. The Leegan brothers David and Darren kicked some great points in the opening half and were ably assisted by Ciaran Walsh, James Finnegan and Cian Burns. At midfield Kyle Connolly and Aodhan McConnon worked hard for the  full hour. In the second half Donaghmoyne gained the upper hand and only for the determination and tight marking of our back four of Ronan Grimes, Jack Guinan, Oisin Burns and Kian Duffy we would have found ourselves in serious difficulty. When introduced Conor Finnegan, Michael Grimes and Dara O’Shea all impressed. Thanks to Mary O’Callaghan for officiating.
