Alpha Lotto – There was no winner of the jackpot held on Sunday night in Bens Place. The winning letters drawn were W, Z, O, and M. The following won the 7 X €20 prizes Margaret Farrelly, Tyholland
Emma Boyle, Selloo, Geraldine Toal, Annamartin,Joe Kelly, Fermoyle, T & P Gribben, Lismeagh – MD,Margaret Flynn, Drumslavog, Moira McBride, Mulladuff. Congratulations and thanks to all our supporters and sellers. Next Sunday nights draw will be held in the Skule Inn. The Jackpot will be €1,750.

U-12 – play Donaghmoyne this Saturday in the Div 2A cup final in Aughnamullen at 4.40pm. Best of luck to all involved.

 

Ladies Football Our minor team are playing at home to Aughnamullen in the first match of their minor league tonight (Thursday) at 7pm.

 

Seniors – played out a 0-13 to 1-10 draw with Aghabog on Saturday evening last.

 

U-16 – defeated Aughnamullen in Smithboro on Monday evening last on a scoreline of 3-14 to 4-09. This result secured our place in the semi final of the league where we now play Aughnamullen again tonight (Thursday). The game is in Aughnamullen with a 6.30pm throw in.

 

U-14 – Played at home to Cremartin on Tuesday evening last. Please see results elsewhere.

 

U-18 – The minors play in the semi final of the championship on Tuesday next. Opposition is Emerald Sarsfields and the venue is Tyholland. Throw in time 6.15pm.

 

Junior Football Championship – our club grounds play host to Emyvale and Oram in the Junior Football Championship semi final this Sunday at 2pm. Can all helpers be at the field for 12.30pm.

 

Congratulations – to Sean Flynn and Anne Croarkin on their recent engagement.

 

 Well Done – to Christina McMahon (formerly Magherarney, now resident in Mayo) on her appearance on the TV show Winning Streak on Saturday last.

 

Village Clean Up – The club has recently undertaken an imitative to cleanup Smithboro Village and the surrounding area. Well done to all who made a contribution to keeping the village looking tidy on  Saturday last and again on Monday evening. This Saturday will again see club members continue the good work. If you are available to spare a couple of hours please come along – starting time 12noon at the club grounds.
