Senior League

Clontibret 0-11, Ballybay 1-9. A game we should have won but missed chances cost us dearly.

Clontibret 1-13, Harps 1-13. We came from behind to finish level with the Harps last weekend.

Minor Championship

We play Cuchulainn Sarsfields in the first round of the minor championship on Tuesday at 6.15pm in Aughnamullen.

U16 Championship Final

Clontibret 1-8, St. Patrick’s 1-10. This was a heart-breaking two-point defeat in a game in which we led from the very beginning. The boys started both halves brightly and got some great scores but with just a goal separating the sides entering the final ten minutes, St. Patrick’s got the goal they had been chasing nearly the whole second half. They followed this up with two points to put an end to our championship hopes. Hard luck to the boys who put in such a great effort. Team and scorers: Tiernan McQuaid, Darren Moen, Cormac Boyle, Dean Brennan, Dylan Connolly, Gerry Gorman, Dean McDonald, Francis Hughes, Michael Savage, Ross Lowey, Darragh Hughes, Senan McCague, Jack Gormley, Francis McNally, Dean McGuigan. Subs: Aaron McGuigan, Vinnie Coyle, Cian Coyle, Conor Moen, Connor Brennan, Cian Brennan, Christopher McDermott, Darragh Todd, Peter Fitzpatrick, Daniel McDonald. Many thanks to the management team of Marty Corey, Colm Gormley and Niall Brennan for their tireless work throughout the year with these young players.
