Did You Know; What is the connection between Toome GAA and Leeds FC. ? Visit this page on the club website.
A long wait; When Sean McMahon ran on to the Clones pitch to play for Monaghan Minors in the Ulster Minor Football Semi final against Cavan, two weeks ago, he was the first Toome minor to represent his county since Gerry Nolan in the mid eighties. Hopefully, we will not have to endure such a long wait again. Well done Sean!
Toome Duathalon: A big thanks to all who took part and to all who helped with all of the organisation and running of the duathalon. It was a great occasion with fantastic conditions for the event. A big THANK YOU once again to everybody connected in any way, it was very much appreciated.
U10 Blitz: The Toome GAA panel travelled to Cremartin on Thursday 4th July, and acquitted themselves brilliantly, by recording memorable victories over Monaghan Harps and near neighbours, Donaghmoyne. In the last match they were unfortunate to be pipped at the post by a strong Magheracloone combination. These young stars of the future played with tremendous determination and flair and were a credit to their club. The highest of praise must go to their mentors, Sean O’Reilly, Denise and Edward Ruddy for their attention to detail in training and to their enthusiastic encouragement from the side line. The future of Toome GAA looks very bright indeed. Well done to all!
