Committee Meeting
The next club executive meeting will be on Thursday 15th August at 9pm.
Juvenile Football
Well done to our U-14 team who beat Toome by 6 points on their last outing. Their next game is on August 13th v Cremartin.
Senior Football
Our senior team played away to Scotstown last Tuesday evening. Check elsewhere for result. Due to the success of the County team, no league/championship fixtures in August have been announced as yet.
All-Ireland Quarter Finals
We wish every success to the Co Minors, under the guidance of Frank Brady, who face Tipperary in Pearse Park, Longford this Monday. Best of luck to the Co Seniors who face Tyrone in Croke Park this Saturday at 5pm. May the force be with them on this great occasion for Monaghan football!
Ticket Collection
Members who ordered tickets for the big game through the club secretary can collect them tomorrow (Friday) evening between 7.30 – 9pm. Please ensure you bring correct payment. NB. the club can only allocate the number/quality of tickets received from the county committee.
T.R. Dallas coming to Latton
Sensational Irish Country & Western music legend, T.R.Dallas, will be appearing in the O’Rahilly GAA Centre, Latton on Saturday 17th August. A great of dance and entertainment is guaranteed, so come along and enjoy this great star. Doors open 8pm, refreshments served, spot prizes galore, so make LATTON the place to be on Saturday 17th August 2013.
Blessing of graves 2013
The annual blessing of graves will take place at St. Marys Church Latton, on Sunday 25th August, following 11.30am mass. The O’Rahilly GAA Club cordially invites all attending to come along to the O’Rahilly centre for a cup of tea & light refreshments following the conclusion of ceremonies. This is an occasion when families, old neighbours and friends always enjoy meeting up. This year the club are offering patrons facilities for lunches/meals etc. Anyone interested in booking lunch or for further information etc. please contact The Mall Restaurant Catering Services on 087-4113950 (Peadar Lynch).
Social Centre
For those who are unable to make it to Croke Park, the O’Rahilly GAA Club social centre will be open to enjoy all the live action from Croke Park this weekend. Also why not pop in and visit as you attend the great parish gathering events on Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th.
Sympathy
The O’Rahilly GAA Club would like to extend sincere sympathy to the family and relatives of the late Paul Brian Conlon, Dublin & Latton, who was interned at St. Marys Church, Latton on Saturday last. The Conlon family formerly owned the lands where now stands the O’Rahilly GAA Club facilities. May he rest in peace.
