Clontibret are now top of the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League Division 1A after they got a walkover from Castleblayney on Saturday and they won away to Monaghan Harps on Wednesday. Blayney also conceded to Latton on Wednesday.

Truagh’s place at the top of Division 1B was cemented when they got the points from Doohamlet on Saturday, while Carrickmacross and Killeevan conceded to Emyvale and Corduff in Division 2A, as did Truagh in Wednesday’s scheduled Division 2B game against Rockcorry. Currin moved out on their own at the top of Division Three when they eased to victory against Aghabog on Saturday.

Eurotech

Scotstown’s third string got their first win in the Eurotech Junior Football League when they edged out neighbours Éire Óg on Wednesday. Seán McDermotts eased past Killeevan to move up to fourth, but that lasted just 24 hours until Oram leapfrogged them with a one-point win in Aghabog.

Cúchulains Sarsfields increased their lead in Division Two to four points when they defeated nearest challengers Donaghmoyne, while Cremartin, Killanny and St. Patrick’s are in a three-way tie for third place after they beat Clontibret, Seán McDermotts and Latton respectively.

Division Three table-toppers St. Tiarnach’s had a high-scoring win against Castleblayney, while Corduff got the better of Killeevan and Inniskeen conceded to Doohamlet.
