Clontibret and Truagh go head-to-head in the O’Duffy Cup Final on Saturday. Truagh, who have been in flying form in Division 1B this year, dethroned champions Castleblayney in the quarter-finals before edging past Monaghan Harps in the semis. Clontibret, however, are going well in Division 1A and they had a comfortable semi-final win over Ballybay,
Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Championship Crawley Cup Final
Aughnamullen v Donaghmoyne, Saturday, 7.00, Corduff
The Crawley Cup final sees Aughnamullen and Donaghmoyne pit their wits against each other. Donaghmoyne have beaten Truagh, Inniskeen and Seán McDermotts so far, as well as winning all nine league games in Division 2A. Aughnamullen are unbeaten in nine games in Division 2B (including one draw) and wins over Carrickmacross and Emyvale got them to this stage.
