Clontibret

Senior League

Our next match is scheduled for Wednesday, 31st July at 7.45pm away to Carrick.

O’Duffy Cup Final

Clontibret 3-8, Truagh 0-8. After a slow start, the boys got to grips with a lively Truagh team with two Noel Morgan goals settling things and giving us a five point lead heading into the break. A Ryan McGuigan goal early in the second half gave us the cushion we needed and further points from Noel Morgan, David Savage, Fergal Greenan and Anthony Rooney sealed the issue as we withstood a late rally from Truagh. Great to see Rodney Gorman being presented with the O’Duffy Cup as captain, a well deserved honour.

Team and scorers: Darren McDonald, Kevin Ward, Brian Greenan, Liam Savage, Pauric Boyle, Kieran Greenan, Rodney Gorman, Eoin Greenan, Fergal Greenan 0-1, Ronan Murphy, David Savage 0-2, Eoin McGuigan, Noel Morgan 2-4, Conor Lavelle, Ryan McGuigan 1-0. Subs: Anthony Rooney 0-1, Conor Carragher, Johnny McKenna, Niall Duffy, Donal Carragher.
