Seniors: The Senior League game at home to Latton scheduled for last Friday evening was postponed due to Monaghan’s progress in the Ulster Championship. The next SFL game is set for July 14th away to Monaghan Harps, and Scotstown play Magheracloone in the Championship on July 28th. Good luck to Monaghan against Cavan on Saturday.

Reserves: The B team had a comfortable victory on Wednesday evening at home to Latton in Reserve League Division 1A by 5-18 to 0-10 which puts them second in the table. Scotstown team and scorers: Cian Mohan (0-1); Ross McKenna (0-1), Pauric Keenan, David Caulfield; Paul Sherlock (0-1), Matthew McCague, Barry McMeel; David McCague, Emmet Caulfield; Shane Rice, James Hamill (2-2), Emmet McCrudden (1-1); Sean Mohan (0-4), Dermot McCrudden (1-4), Elliot Maguire (1-3). Substitutes used: Adrian Carbin, Tom Moyna, Ciaran Treanor, Nessan McCrudden (0-1), Emmet King. The next game is due to be played on July 12th away to Castleblayney.

Juniors: Our C team were knocked out of the Junior Championship on Saturday last by Éire Óg on a score of 0-12 to 0-8. Scotstown team and scorers: Cian Mohan; David Caulfield, Matthew McCague, Adrian Carbin; Barry McMeel, Damien McKenna, Ciaran Treanor (0-1); Damien F McKenna, Ross McKenna; Shane Rice, Mark McKenna (0-2), Declan McCarville; Emmet McCrudden (0-1), Mark McDevitt (0-2), Chris McAleer. Substitutes used: Tom Moyna, Nicholas Corrigan (0-2), Michael McCarville, Kevin McKenna, Nessan McCrudden. The next League game is set for Sunday, July 14th at home to Emyvale.

Under 21: The game against Latton due to be played on Tuesday evening was cancelled, and is now likely to take place on July 12th.

Minors: The next Minor club action will be in July. The county Minors play Cavan in the Ulster semi-final this Saturday – good luck to all involved.

Under 16: There is a League fixture on Thursday evening, June 27th away at Carrickmacross with a 7:30pm start. Then on Sunday it’s the Division One Championship versus St. Patrick’s at 12 noon in Ballybay.

Under 14: The Division One team lost to Monaghan Harps on Saturday last, while Emyvale conceded the Division Five game.

Under 12: The double-header away to Latton has been moved to Wednesday, July 3rd with the Division 3B team up first at 7pm followed by the Division 1A side at 8:15pm. We wish a speedy recovery to under-12 player Cathal Meehan who picked up an injury in training recently.

Go Games: Kilmore is the venue for the Under 10 Go Games this Thursday, June 27th at 7pm. All juvenile coaches and mentors are asked to assist.

Croke Park: Two 12 year old players from each club in the county have been given the opportunity to play at Croke Park on Tuesday, July 2nd. Ray Treacy and Jamie Treanor were the two names drawn from the hat to represent the Scotstown club. Good luck to both players, and enjoy the day!

Summer Camp: Scotstown will host a Kellogg’s Cul Camp from July 29th to August 2nd. The camp is for boys and girls aged between 5 and 13 years. Full details and application forms are available on the Monaghan GAA website or from gaa.ie and promotional codes are available on Kellogg’s cereal packs.

Track: The track at Kilmore is now available for use by the general public. Please note that for insurance reasons, dogs and bicycles are not permitted to use the track – walkers and runners only please.

Ciste: The monthly Ciste draw takes place this Saturday night in the Complex. Tickets €7.

Development Draw: Ticket sellers are out in force for our Development Draw, with a car and other valuable prizes on offer. Tickets are priced at €20 each or three for €50. They are also available on the Scotstown GAA website, with Paypal/Credit Card payments accepted.

Ladies Senior and Minor: Training every Tuesday and Friday at 7.30pm sharp. Please be on time. If you are unable to attend training, it is important to contact team management. The Seniors were in Intermediate Championship action against Corduff on Wednesday evening.

Ladies U16: Training every Monday and Thursday night in Kilmore at 6.30pm. Please bring registration form and money to team management ASAP.

Ladies U14: Training every Monday and Thursday in Kilmore at 6.30pm. Please bring registration form and money to team management ASAP.

Ladies U12: Training continues every Tuesday at 6:15pm in Kilmore. Please return registration form and money to team management as soon as possible.  

Ladies Registration: Club registration is now overdue for 2013. Please give to team management or club registrar Martina Larmer. U18s – €35, over 18s – €50. If you are not registered you will be unable to train or play matches, registration is for one year, from May 2013 to May 2014.  

Condolences: Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of the recently deceased who include Sean Keenan, Cloughnart.
