Seniors: The next Senior League game will be away to Clontibret on Wednesday, June 12th at 8pm. Good luck to the County Seniors who are in Ulster Championship action on Sunday against Antrim.
Reserves: The B team were knocked out of the O’Duffy Cup by Clontibret after a first-half salvo of goals for the visitors. Scotstown staged a fight back in the second-half, but it wasn’t enough. The final score was 4-8 to 3-5. Scotstown team and scorers: Cian Mohan; Ross McKenna (0-1), Ciaran Treanor, Damien McArdle; Shane Rice, Emmet Caulfield (0-1), Barry McMeel; David McCague, Matthew McCague (0-1); Elliot Maguire, Brian McGinnity, Paul Sherlock (1-0); Nicholas Corrigan (2-0), James Hamill (0-2), Sean Mohan. Substitutes used: Evan Murray, Emmet McCrudden. The B team were in action away at Clontibret again on Wednesday evening, and they have a home League game against Latton on June 19th.
Juniors: Our C team lost out to Oram in the Junior Championship Preliminary Round game last week by 1-7 to 0-7. After a good start by Scotstown with the opening three points, Oram got back into the game to lead by two at the break. The Blues got back on level terms with the first two points of the second half, but Oram hit four points in a row to move back in front. They held the lead for the remainder of the game, and Scotstown will now have to wait until the weekend of June 23rd for their second chance in the JFC. The lads are in League action again away to Oram on Sunday, June 16th.
Minors: The next Minor club action will be in July. The county Minors play Cavan in the Ulster semi-final on June 29th.
Under 16: The next game is at home to Seán MacDermott’s on June 20th. They play St. Patrick’s in the Championship on June 30th.
Under 14: The Division One team lost out to Inniskeen at the weekend, and were away at Killanny on Tuesday evening. They are away again at Emyvale on June 15th. Clones/Currin conceded the Division Five game on Saturday, and the lads were in Division 5 Championship action on Tuesday evening at home to Monaghan Harps.
Under 12: The Under 12 Division 1A team play Magheracloone away on Saturday at 12 noon, while the Division 3B team are away to Killeevan also at 12 noon on Saturday.
Junior Championship Hosts: Páirc Mhuire, Scotstown is the venue for the Junior Football Championship Round 1A fixture between Feargal O’Hanlon’s and Emyvale at 8pm.
Track: The track at Kilmore is now available for use by the general public. Please note that for insurance reasons, dogs and bicycles are not permitted to use the track – walkers and runners only please.

Book Launch: Local man Shane Caulfield launches his coaching book “Gaelic Football – Games and Drills for Fundamental Development” this Friday night at 8pm in Saint Macartan’s College, Monaghan. Everyone welcome.
Hooley in the Heather: A charity cycle takes place this Saturday, June 8th with a choice of 50k or 100k routes starting and finishing at the Sliabh Beagh Hotel. Registration from 9am and cyclists are away at 10am. In the afternoon there will be a 5k Fun Run/Walk also starting and finishing at the Hotel. Registration is from 2pm, and the start at 3pm. Proceeds go to Multiple Sclerosis Monaghan.
Development Draw: Ticket sellers are out in force for our Development Draw, with a car and other valuable prizes on offer. Tickets are priced at €20 each or three for €50. They are also available on the Scotstown GAA website, with Paypal/Credit Card payments accepted.

Ladies Registration: Club registration is now overdue for 2013. Please give to team management or club registrar Martina Larmer. U18s – €35, over 18s – €50. If you are not registered you will be unable to train or play matches, registration is for one year, from May 2013 to May 2014.
