Championship
Its that time of year again when an all out effort is made  by every club in the county to get a win and we are no different. But its a big ask for our club to take on the recently demoted and fancied favourites Sean Mac Diarmuide in Drumhowan on Sunday next at 2.30. We would ask you to travel and show your support for this young team most of whom are just finished their exams.
League.
We got out of St. Victors park on a glorious Friday last with a win and much needed points.
Thanks
Go raibh agaibh go Shane Callan and Pee McMahon for the use of their equipment last week and to Paddy Quinn and Donal McArdle who painted the goal-posts.
UNDER 12 BLITZ: We travelled to Kingscourt on Saturday last and participated in a very enjoyable blitz . We started the competition with one win and one loss over Kingscourt and Ballymun Kickhams respectively. Despite the loss we got through to the semi-final where we met  Simonstown from Navan. This was a tough and physical encounter and while the scores were level at half-time, Simonstown were the stronger team in the second half and earned their place in the final which they won. While we didn’t come home with any medals it was a very good warm up for our U12 League campaign which kicks off over the next week or two. All of the players worked very hard and if they continue to do this they will be strong contenders for the league title. A big thanks to the organisers for the lovely food & refreshments, our coaches and the parents and friends who watched. Training continues every week
