Reserve Crawley Defeat
Our B footballers went out of the championship to neighbors Donaghmoyne last Friday night.
After taking an early lead of 5 points to 1 point, we ended up going in all square at half time with a score line of 0-08 -0-08.
However some missed Goal chances eventually resulted in our undoing as Donaghmoyne ran out winners by 0-14 to 0-09.

Inniskeen Camogie Notes
The U12s got back to winning ways when they proved too strong for Mattock Rangers of Collon in the Louth League.
The girls were firing on all cylinders and rattled the net on numerous occasions. They also had plenty of work to do in defense as the Collon girls were not going down without a fight. This was a great display by the Inis Caoin Cailini and confidence will be high going into the next game against St Anne’s of Togher.
The U14s had a very tough assignment last Friday evening against Ulster Feile Champions – Castleblayney. Although the result didn’t go our way the girls can be very proud of their efforts. They may not have won but the team is improving all the time and Julianne is very happy with their progress. Keep up the good work girls!
The U8 & U10s are still training away every Tuesday and are excited about togging out for some game time soon. Parents will be notified in advance.
Thanks again to all the coaches & parents who do great work helping out at this age group. As the saying goes” Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí ”
Seniors.
A great night was had by all last Friday as we enjoyed the fine cuisine of the Riverbank and afterwards some light refreshments (!) at the Carrick festival to celebrate Issy and Karen’s good news. We’ll have to do an extra bit of training on Monday night to make up for the indulgence of the weekend and especially after Julianne’s delightful chocolate cake J
