Juniors:
Our Junior side took on rivals Iniskeen away from home last Wednesday evening. Thankfully the lads had a convincing win and kept their 100% unbeaten run for the year so far. They will face Aughnamullen in the Crawley Cup final also, no date has yet been fixed for that one
Minors:
Minor training continues Monday evening at 7pm. With exams all over and games starting back soon full attendance at training is needed from here on in.
U16s:
Last Thursday evening saw our U16 panel return to action as they faced neighbours Carrick. These lads were focused from the start as they wanted to return to action with a win. They gave an excellent attacking display but weren’t as solid as normal defensively but thankfully they ran out comfortable winners. This Sunday is Championship Quarter final day for the lads as they take on Seans away from home, see official fixtures and the clubs twitter/facebook page for the time as it is subject to change. This is a promising group of lads with potential to do very well and need all the support they get, so get down to Seans on Sunday morning to support them on the big day out.
U14s:
On Saturday morning last the lads travelled to Inniskeen where they took on Fergal O Hanlons. The lads put in an impressive display and ran out comprehensive winners.
U12s:
The U12 team A team, had their third game in the league during the week. On Tuesday evening they took on Toome away from home. This was a tight encounter throughout with both teams battling hard to get a result. A few vital scores in the 2nd half from Donaghmoyne was the slight edge needed to take the win, a good result for the team. Both teams return to action this week, on Saturday morning the A team face Aughnamullen away from home at 12 o clock, and the B team take on Tyholland away from home also at 12 o clock but this game is subject to change.
Mini Fontenoys:
The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per family. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.
