Seniors:

Last Saturday saw our Senior panel get their first taste of Championship action this Summer as they faced Truagh in Blackhill on Saturday evening. The lads knew that they had a baptism of fire in this years Championship and that factor had them as motivated as ever. Donaghmoyne playing with the breeze in the first half went in leaders on a scoreline of 10 points to 5 with Truagh having an extra man on the field. For sure a huge second half performance was needed against the wind and thankfully they didn’t fail to deliver as they weathered the Truagh attacks and came out on the right side of an 11 points to 10 victory. A great win and a great way to start the Championship for the lads. They will now face Tyholland in the next round in the coming weeks.

This weekend they return to action as they welcome Fergal O Hanlons to Pairc Fontenoy and throw in for that one is at 12 o clock.
