Clontibret
Senior League
Clontibret 1-14, Scotstown 0-7. We played well throughout the field for a good win against Scotstown last week.
Clontibret 1-9, Magheracloone 0-15. We had a tight battle in Magheracloone last Sunday morning in a game which could have been won but slipped away from us in the end.
Our next senior game scheduled for Sunday, 14th July at home to Ballybay.
Reserve League Division 1
We are at home to Magheracloone on Sunday at 2pm. This will be followed by an away game against Latton on Friday, 12th July at 8pm.
Reserve Division 3
We played Currin yesterday evening, result next week. Next game is on Wednesday, 10th July away to Aghabog at 8pm.
U16 League & Championship
We play the Harps next Thursday, 27th June in Clontibret at 7.30pm.
We play the same opposition again at home in the Division 1 championship on Sunday, 30th June at 5pm. This will be a big game for the boys so get out in numbers to give them your support.
U14
Clontibret 5-13, Eire Og 4-19. We lost out to Eire Og narrowly in this high scoring game. Some great scores were taken on both sides but we ran out on the losing side in the end.
We are at home to Latton tomorrow evening, Friday at 8pm.
The next game will be on Saturday, 13th July away to Toome at 12pm.
U12
We played Corduff on Tuesday, result next week.
U8 & U10 Blitz
There will be an u8 & u10 blitz in Emyvale on Saturday. The bus will leave the Community Centre at 9am sharp.
Training continues for u10s on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm.
Nursery & Girls
Training continues for nursery, u8 boys and u8 and u10 girls tomorrow evening, Friday from 6pm-7pm at the field.
GAA Youth Camp
The GPA, in conjuction with Elvery, Sports are running a Youth Camp for 13-16 year old boys from 24th to 28th June in Cloghan. The coaching staff will consist of various county players including two of our own, Dessie and Conor. Camps will include a variety of activities from football coaching to match preparation and nutritional advice. Camps will run from 10am-2pm daily and the cost is €55. The Michaela Camp
Just in case the girls are feeling left out, The Michaela Foundation will hold The Michaela Girls Summer Camp in Monaghan this year for the very first time from 8th-12th July in St. Tiarnach’s N.S. Clones. The camp is for 11-13 year old girls and is based around five main elements; Fun, Fashion, Faith, Irish and Wellbeing. There will be a huge variety of fantastic activities throughout the week including Nail Art, Hairstyles, Cupcake Decorating, GAA Skills, Zumba and Creative Writing, among many others. Senior Hurling
We lost our 2nd round championship match to a much sharper Carrick side 1-13 to 0-13. We play Castleblayney tonight Thursday away at 8pm.
U16-U12 v Castleblayney Monday 24th June at home.
