Executive meeting: takes place this evening in the Creighton at 7:30pm.  This meeting has been rescheduled all executive members are requested to attend as there is a packed agenda.

The very best of luck to all our members who are sitting Junior Cert and Leaving Cert examinations, not unlike sport, preparation is everything and we wish you all well.  Do your best, give your all and make yourselves and your families proud.

Championship Tickets for the First Round match against Antrim are available in Supervalu, stand tickets €25 with terrace tickets €15.

Cul Camps: Following on from the huge success of our Easter Camps the summer Cul Camp takes place from the 8th-12th of July. Cost of Camps 1st child 55euro, 2nd child 45euro, 3rd child 40euro each, & 35euro if a child wants to attend another camp (without gear). All Camps cater for 5 to 13 year old boys/girls. Senior Team; The Senior team’s next match is against Currin this coming Wednesday the 12th June at 8pm in Scotshouse.  The lads really appreciate all the support so come on out and show the team your support.

Reserves: The reserves played Clontibret on Sunday in the first round of the championship.  In a game where Clones displayed fantastic character and “grit” coming from behind and scoring 2:02 in the last ten minutes to secure a 1 point victory.  Goals win matches and a penalty from Sarto Quigley and a fine effort Shaun Cunningham levelled the match with Ross Adamson scoring the final point that helped Clones record this narrowest of victories.  Brian McDonald put in an immense man of the match display, attacking the ball at every opportunity.  The semi final is a home game against Blackhill on Friday week June 14th with a 7pm throw in.

Minors; There’s a break for four weeks now with the county championship getting underway our next minor match is against Rock Emmets away on the 9th of July.

Under 16’s; there’s a break in  football for this team with exams taking place their next game is against Eire Og on 20th June throw in 7:30pm.

Under 14’s; The U14 Clones/Currin Division 1 team had a good win away to Emyvale on Saturday last. A good opening half left the team 2-06 to 0-01 up. Emyvale responded well in the second half but the team were worthy winners by a score of 2-12 to 1:07. Team: Cian McCarney, Caoihain O Neill-McDermott, Simon O Connell, Dan Connolly, Nathan Daly, Matthew Reihill, Jack Lynch (0-1), Cillian Martin, Oisin Mc Phill…ips (1-0), Kevin Murphy 0-4), Conor Reilly, Rian Kierans (0-2), Dec Mc Kernan (1-5). The team are away to table toppers Monaghan harps on Tuesday at 7.30pm

The Division 5 team have a championship semi -final on Tuesday away to Emerald Sarsfields at 7.30pm. Best of luck to the lads and hoping they can make the final.

Under12s  Div 2A play Toome in Clones at 7pm this evening (Thursday 6th) and our Div 3B play Latton on Saturday at 12pm.

Under 8/10’s Training is now changed to St Tiarnach’s Park on Wednesdays from 6-7pm.

Well Done to Ella Daly and Orla Reilly who competed for the County in the Ulster Final against Cavan last week.  Monaghan had hard luck against a strong Cavan side, the experience will stand to the girls though and they should take a bow as it’s a great achievement to compete at that level.
