Well done to Shane Mulligan who was centre-half back on the London team who had an historic victory when they defeated Sligo in the Connaught Championship last Sunday. This was only London’s second ever victory in the Championship, their last coming in 1977. Shane was the only Monaghan player on the team, who will now face Leitrim for a place in the Connaught Final.
