Seniors: The Senior game against Carrickmacross on Sunday did not go ahead as the visitors were unable to field a team. The Seniors were due to be in action again on Wednesday evening away to Ballybay. There will be a three week break until the next Senior game away to Clontibret on June 12th.

Reserves: The game against Monaghan Harps which was due to take place on Sunday has been postponed due to the Junior Championship game that day. The next game is away to Clontibret on Wednesday, June 5th at 8pm.

Juniors: The game against neighbours Éire Óg scheduled for Saturday evening fell foul of the wet weather which left the pitch unplayable. The lads are in Junior Championship (Preliminary Round) action on Sunday afternoon at 2pm in O’Neill Park, Clontibret. They are in League action again the following Wednesday, May 29th at home to Killanny at 8pm.

Under 21: Clontibret were defeated by 0-12 to 2-13 on Friday last. The Scotstown team and scorers were: Conor Forde; David Caulfield, Ciaran Treanor, Elliot Maguire; Shane Rice, Ross McKenna, Evan Murray; Mark Treanor (0-2), Michael McCarville (0-1); Tom Moyna, Shane Carey (0-5), Sean Mohan (0-2); Conor McCarthy (1-3), Donnacha Dolan (1-0), Nessan McCrudden. Substitutes used: Stephen Sherry, Jason Carey, Niall McKenna, Mark Clerkin. Next up is a home game against Latton on June 25th. The team are currently joint top of Division One along with Truagh and Latton.

Minors: Good luck to the county Minor team who take on Antrim in Newry on Sunday evening at 7pm in the Ulster Championship. Best of luck also to Donal Connolly and his umpires who will be officiating at the Donegal v Tyrone UMFC fixture in Ballybofey on Sunday afternoon.

Under 16: The Under 16’s beat Clontibret last Thursday evening by 4-7 to 3-6. The next game is at home to Donaghmoyne on Monday evening, May 27th at 7:45pm.

Under 14: The Division One team defeated a Clones/Currin combination at home on Tuesday evening by 5-10 to 1-7. They are away to Magheracloone on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:30pm. The Division Five team had a convincing win over Truagh on Saturday last, and will be in action again on June 1st at home to Clones/Currin.

Under 12: The Summer Leagues will be starting in the coming weeks.

Injuries: Shane Carey made a welcome return to action with the Under 21’s after the injury he sustained in the recent Senior win at Castleblayney. Best wishes for a speedy recovery also go to the four Faughs players who picked up injuries during that game as well.

Ciste: The monthly draw takes place this Saturday night in the Complex. Tickets are €7.

Development Draw: Ticket sellers are out in force for our Development Draw, with a car and other valuable prizes on offer. Tickets are priced at €20 each or three for €50. They are also available on the Scotstown GAA website, with Paypal/Credit Card payments accepted.

Ladies Senior and Minor: Training every Tuesday at 7.45pm and Friday at 7.30pm sharp. Please be on time. If you are unable to attend training, it is important to contact team management. The Senior girls had their first win of the season against the Sean’s last Sunday afternoon. The girls battled hard to come from behind at half-time, and win by eight points, 4-18 to 4-10. The girls are out again this Friday at home to Doohamlet at 7pm

Congratulations: Well done to Laura Carey and the county Minor team on their win in the Ulster final last Saturday against Armagh.

Ladies U16: Training every Monday and Thursday night in Kilmore at 6.30pm. Please bring registration form and money to team management ASAP. There is a match this evening, Thursday, away to Aughnamullan at 7.00pm.

Ladies U14: Training every Monday and Thursday in Kilmore at 6.30pm. Please bring registration form and money to team management ASAP. The girls had an excellent performance last week defeating Tyholland. They were at home to Donaghmoyne on Monday, and let’s hope their winning streak continues.

Ladies U12: Training continues every Tuesday at 6:15pm in Kilmore. Please return registration form and money to team management as soon as possible.  

Ladies Registration: Club registration is now overdue for 2013. Please give to team management or club registrar Martina Larmer. U18s – €35, over 18s – €50. If you are not registered you will be unable to train or play matches, registration is for one year, from May 2013 to May 2014.

Wedding Bells: Congratulations from everyone in the club to Lisa Morgan, Sheskin on her marriage at the weekend to Ciarán McManus of Doohamlet – we wish them a long and happy married life together.
