There is a limited programme of games on this bank holiday weekend, although there are places up for grabs in all three reserve football championships.

The Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Championship quarter-finals take centre stage on Friday evening. Defending O’Duffy Cup champions Castleblayney have home advantage against Truagh, while RFL Division 1A leaders Clontibret are up against Scotstown and there is also a local derby between Doohamlet and Ballybay. RFL Division 2A table-toppers Inniskeen face rivals Donaghmoyne in the Crawley Cup, while Division 2B front-runners Aughnamullen host Carrickmacross, Corduff make the long trip to Emyvale and Rockcorry take on Seán McDermotts. There are two Reserve Cup Division Three games between Feargal O’Hanlons and Blackhill and Monaghan Harps and Currin, while the other two are on Sunday between Clones and Clontibret and Emyvale and Aghabog.

The Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Leagues resume on Wednesday evening. In Division 1A, Monaghan Harps and Latton and Clontibret and Scotstown all go head-to-head for the second time in the space of a week, while Magheracloone meet Castleblayney. Tyholland and Ballybay and Cremartin and Drumhowan contest the matches in Division 1B, while in Division 2A, it’s Carrickmacross v Donaghmoyne and Inniskeen v Emyvale. Aughnamullen host Seán McDermotts in the sole Division 2B game.

It’s a busy few days of action in the Gerry’s Prepared Veg. Under-14 competitions, with hurling league semi-finals on Monday and football championship semi-finals on Tuesday.
