Seniors:

The Senior panel returned to winning ways last Sunday. They travelled to Drumhowan for the next game in the league. The lads showed a massive improvement from the previous week and played some excellent football at times. The game finished up with Donaghmoyne on the favoured side of a two point win but they really deserved their victory. They played their next game on Wednesdayevening away to Corduff. See next weeks notes for the result.

Juniors:

Our Junior side return to action this Saturday evening, they face Corduff away at 7.30pm.

U21s:

The U21 panel had their next game in the league last Friday evening when they made the short trip to face neighbours Carrickmacross. This was an exciting game with impressive football played by both sides. Thankfully on the night Donaghmoyne were more clinical up front and came out with a narrow victory. See fixtures and note for upcoming fixtures.

Minors:

Minor training continues every Monday from 7pm in Donaghmoyne. Need to see everyone present from now on with this break and the business end of the year to come.

U16s:

The U16 panel made the trip away last Thursday evening to take on Seans in the league. The lads played second fiddle for most the game, but got back into the game to lead late on. Unfortunately their opponents had a late rally and gained a point to leave the match in a draw.

U14s:

U14s took on Ballybay in the league on Wednesday evening. See next weeks results for the result.

U12s:

Both U12 teams, the 11 a side and 9 a side teams had their Spring league Finals matches on

U10s:

Our U10 community games side played their final of the competition last Monday evening when they took on Clontibret. This was a brilliant encounter with some excellent football by the two young teams at stages. The game was close right up to the end and at full time Clontibret came out two point winners on a scoreline of Donaghmoyne 1-9 Clontibret 2-8. Even though they couldn’t just get over the line this young group of players should be very proud of their achievement to get so far. We’d like to thank all the players and management for their hard work throughout the competition and we can safely say that the future is bright for this talented group of players.

Mini Fontenoys:

The minis training continues Saturday at 11 in Donaghmoyne. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per family. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.
