The new Monaghan jerseys, sponsored once again by banking group Investec and made by O’Neill’s, will be launched next Thursday evening in the Hillgrove Hotel. Club Monaghan PRO and merchandise manager Séamus McMeel will have the new jerseys, which the county teams will wear in the upcoming championships, on sale in Carrickmacross and Monaghan town next weekend. The Investec incentive scheme will make its return, allowing supporters to trade in old (non-Investec) Monaghan jerseys to get a discount on the new tops.
The Club Monaghan direct-debit scheme continues to go from strength to strength, with new forms now available. Coordinator Séamus McMeel, who can be contacted at 047 87286 or 086 8981711, is keen to stress that money can be paid in any time-frame (e.g. yearly, monthly, quarterly) and he is also delighted that, with the help of Pádraig Sherry and the county managers, the senior football and hurling teams are now on board with selling direct debits.
The new Club Monaghan half-time draw will also soon be launched, ahead of the start of the club championships at the end of this month.
