We had a comfortable victory over Killanny in the championship last Friday to advance to the next round. Best wishes to Killanny’s Michael Quinn who sustained an injury in the game and was subsequently hospitalised.
We are due to play Eire Og away in the league on Wednesday at 7.45pm in Eire Og.
U21
The match against Truagh fixed for last week didn’t take place due to the involvement of a sizeable number of our players with county minor teams, both football and hurling, both at the weekend. Next match is against Scotstown and is fixed for 17th May.
Minor
Clontibret 4-11, St. Patrick’s 4-8. A good win over St. Patrick’s in a high scoring and tight game on Tuesday last week secured us two more league points.
We played Aughnamullen on Tuesday, result next week.
This will be followed by a break for exams for the minors with the next game not scheduled until 9th July.
U16
Clontibret 1-13, Seans 3-9. The concession of three goals is always difficult to overcome and so it proved against a strong Seans team last Thursday.
We play Donaghmoyne in Clontibret this evening, Thursday at 7pm.
Next Thursday we are away to Scotstown at 7.30pm.
U14
Clontibret 5-10, Seans 7-13. This was a high scoring game but we failed to overcome the Seans challenge in the end.
On Saturday week, 18th May we are away to Corduff at 12pm.

We have qualified for the Spring League final which is against Donaghmoyne on Saturday at 11am in Donaghmoyne. Best of luck to the boys.
