Ulster loose out to Munster

Ulster advanced to the final of the Gael Linn Tournament defeating Connacht en route in Athleague, Portlaoise on Sunday last when they had a convincing win over the Westeners 2 -14 to 1 – 7. Munster also had a comfortable win over Leinster to reach the Final. Ulster were unlucky not to have taken the Trophy, when they gave Munster a good run for their money. Monaghan were represented by Marie Greenan Clontibret, Mary Meehan Truagh and Louise O ‘Connell Castleblayney.

Friday 24th May. Castleblayney home to Clontibret @8PM.
Camogie WorkshopA Workshop for all Camogie and Hurling coaches, Parents and Teachers will take place in Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan next Thursday night 30th May.
This workshop will be specifically designed to suit Mentors and Coaches working with U16 – Adult teams

Poc Fada
The Poc Fada has been annually held in Annaverna Mountain, Ravensdale, Cooley, County Louth, since 1960, with competitors taking part in Mens Senior, Camogie and U16 grades.
Speaking at the launch Uachtarán An Cumann Camógaíochta, Aileen Lawlor said: “Camogie are delighted once again to take part in the annual Poc Fada Finals, this will be our 7th year taking parking part and over the last number of years competition has been quite stiff with only a puck of the sliotar between the contestants.”
