Three Monaghan girls have been named for the Ulster panel they are: Mary Meehan, Truagh, Marie Greenan, Clontibret and Louise O’Connell, Castleblayney.
Ulster Gael Linn coach Joe Passmore has named his squad for this years Inter-Provincial competition which is this year for Junior counties. Ulster have the luxury of selecting five players from Antrim and these players are blended in alongside players from Down, Tyrone, Armagh, Monaghan and Cavan. The Gael Linn is played on a one day format with Semi-Finals followed by the Final which will be played on 19th May with the venue to be confirmed
Joe Passmore said: “We have assembled what we think is a good squad for the Junior Gael Linn. The county managers have been extremely helpful and I appreciate their support.

Monaghan County Camogie Team
Monaghan take on Armagh in Scotstown in the 2ND round of the Ulster Junior Championship on Sunday next 12th May at 3 pm. On this occasion the home siders will have to raise the bar given that they went under to Cavan in the first round just 2 weeks ago and with just a limited number to pick from leaves it difficult to match the opponents on Sunday. Armagh put it up to Cavan in last years Ulster final so they will be up for it this time round when their aim will be to once again reach the final and go the whole way.
County Board Meeting
The May meeting will take place in the Glencarn Hotel this evening Thursday at 8pm. Please ensure that all clubs are represented.
