During half time of the Monaghan V Antrim NFL game in Clones on Sunday, Monaghan Coaching and Games Committee held the final of the Easter Camp’s Skill Competition. During the Easter Camps in Ballybay, Scotstown and Clones, the coaches organised an Under 8 and Under 10 skills competition.
After completing the skills competition’s within each camp, the 2 winners from each age group went forward to the finals in Clones. There were 6 players competing in the U8 final and 6 players in the U10 final.
After completing the finals, Aine Mc Quaid was the winner of the U8 competition and Louis Kelly was the winner of the U10 competition. The winners received a Monaghan jersey and Monaghan hat. All the other participants received a Monaghan hat for competing in the final.
We would like to thank the coaching staff for organising the skills competition, to Clones for the use of the facilities and to the parents of the children who took part in the final.
