Adult Team news. Training continues at the usual times on Tuesday and Friday evenings, all panellists are requested to attend. Next outing in the League is away to Toome at 7.30pm on Wednesday 1st May, they have home advantage for the visit of Oram to TMH on Wednesday 8th May throw in time is 7.45pm. On Sunday 12 May they travel to Oliver Plunket Park Emyvale for a 4.00pm start. No doubt they will be anxious to get back to winning ways after being overcome by Killanny in their last outing hopefully over this series of games they can acquire more points that will keep them around the top of the league table.

Players Draw: Congratulations to John McQuaid, Frank Rice, Ronan Lynch and Karrie Mullin who were the winners of the weekly NFL draw for Rounds 4, 5, 6 & 7. The players and management would like to thank everyone who supported the draw week in week out. These funds will go towards purchasing food, gear and any equipment needed to get the squad in the best possible position to mount a challenge for silverware.

 

Under 8/10  Our under 8 squad equipped themselves very well when they travelled to Clontibret on Saturday last for their first Go game blitz of the season, with a travelling panel of 19 our two teams enjoyed games with host Clontibret, Clones,and Truagh.The panel was Amy Brennan,Ciaran Maguire Conan Mc Kenna, Chloe Stuart, Emmett Woods,Hannah Mc Cabe, James Mc Cabe,Jade Stuart,Liam Morgan Oisin Kelly,Adam Boyle, Adam Mc Cormick,Cathal Mc Entee, Conan Mc Mullan, Mathew Mc Guinness,Lia Kelly, Ben Forde,Derbhla Keenan,Sean Finan.  Coaching for everyone continues on Wednesday evenings from 6.45 to 7.30pm and on Saturday mornings from 10.00 -11.00am.

Ceili Dancing. Ceili dancing classes continue in the complex this Sunday at the usual time of 6.30pm -7.30pm. Paula, Edel & Michelle look forward to seeing all their regulars there.

Cultural Night:  We look forward with great anticipation, to our next Traditional Irish Music session; so remember to keep Friday 10th May free, the 2nd Friday of the month. Everyone is welcome to this terrific night’s entertainment! Refreshments served. We look forward to seeing you all there.

 Totto. The numbers 2, 3,8,5,1,7,4,6 drawn on Monday night for a jackpot prize of €8,200 were not correctly forecast. Player of the year award. Well done to Martin Kieran who was voted by his playing colleagues the clubs 2012 Player of the Year. Martin becomes the first player to receive this coveted award for a second time having had his name originally inscribed on the trophy back in 2007.

Allianz League Final. Congratulations to Mark Keogh and his Monaghan team mates on overcoming Meath in Croke Park last Saturday evening and lifting the Allianz Division 3 League trophy in the process.
