Ulster Junior Camogie Championship
Monaghan travel to meet old rivals Cavan in the first round of the Ulster Junior Championship which takes place in Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday next 28th April @ 3.30pm.Cavan will be a force to be reckoned with, given that they beat off stiff opposition when they defeated Armagh to claim the 2012 Junior Championship.
Monaghan who will line out without a few of their usual stalwarts will have a difficult task on hand particularly in defence where the Cavan forward line of Roisin O Keefe, Brid Boylan and Grainne Power will have their mind set on goals . Monaghan have introduced a number of new faces to the panel and together with a sprinkling of old reliable’s Paul Monahan will be hoping that his side can come up trumps on Sunday. The Monaghan team will meet for a light training session in Cloghan on Saturday evening at 7.30pm.
