Monaghan football is on a high this week after the success of our minor and senior teams last weekend. Congratulations to the management and players of both teams especially the Latton players who played a big part in these victories with Owen Duffy getting a well-deserved man of the match award in Croke park on Sat evening.

Leisure Cycle
Anyone interested in going for a short leisurely cycle on Sunday morning?. We will meet up at the GAA centre at 10 am, adults only.

We play Rockcorry away on Sun 5th may, Castleblayney at home on Wed 8th and at home to Monaghan Harps on Sun 12th.
Championship Preview.
On Saturday May 11th the Latton O’ Rahilly club plays host to some of todays finest footballers along with some past legends to conduct an in-depth questions & Answers session in the lead up to this year’s ALL-Ireland football series. In what promises to be a very entertaining night, Dublins All Ireland winning player Brenard Brogan, recently retired Crossmaglens stalwart Oisin Mc Conville, Kildare’s sharp-shooter Seanie Johnston Derry colourful forward Paddy Bradley. Local hero and Monaghan captain Owen Lennon will come to the centre dissect & deliberate this year championship with a no frill straight answers question and answer session.The large-expected audience will also participate with what will be an open forum lead by popular UTV compere Adrian Logan. Photo opportunities will also be available with the celebrities early on in the evening. Guinness World Record Attempt
Latton Gaa are taking part in Nationwide Sports Fundraising event on Saturday 4th May starting at 11:30am at Latton football field They are attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest 3 legged race. Each participant will get a world record certificate. To take part in this event you have to sell 5 lines @ €3 each. All proceeds goes to juveniles. Please be in Latton 11.15am.
