Doohamlet GAA Club Notes

Seniors:  Our Seniors wait is finally over as we face Magheracloone at home on Saturday evening next at 7pm in our first senior game of 2013.  Preparation have been disrupted however with injuries to key players Shane Connolly, Gabie Casey and Darren Connolly and some of our younger players will be asked to step up to the plate and perform at this level.  We wish management, Team Captain Kevin McArdle and all the players every success for the year ahead.

Our Seniors also play Rockcorry away on Wednesday 17^th with a throw in at 7.15pm

Reserves:  Our Reserve team suffered two defeats in the last week away at Cremartin and a narrow home defeat against Drumhowan on Saturday night last.  Shortage of players seems to be the main problem and it is imperative that all players eligible for this competition attend games.

Minors: Our Minor team have a home fixture against St. Tiernachs next Tuesday evening Throw In 7pm

U14:  Our u14 team play Cremartin in a rearranged fixture on Saturday 13^th April at 4pm at O’Neill Park.

U12:  Our u12 team have a home game against Oram at 12 noon also on Saturday.

Congrats:  Many congratulations to Colin Walshe and the entire Monaghan Senior team on gaining promotion last weekend and also to Colin on being awarded a College Allstar in the Irish Daily Mail Sigerson team 2013.

Club Meeting:  Our monthly meeting will be held in the clubrooms tonight Thursday at 8.30pm.

Doohamlet Hall Committee:  Will host a Coffee Morning and cake sale in the local hall on Sunday next.  Please support this event as all proceeds go towards the redevelopment of the hall.
