The senior team picked up two great points on Sunday. Trailing by eight points midway through the first half, the proverbial game of two halves saw Blackhill strike for three goals in as many minutes from H Byrne, C Woods and C Courtney early in the second half to turn the game on its head. The home team finished strongly kicking some fine points from play to finish deserving victors on the day.

Fund raising

Blackhill GFC are participating in the world record attempt 3-legged race taking place as part of “the gathering”. Sponsorship cards are available from club secretary Marie Murphy 0868293209. The race will take place on Saturday May 4^th at 11AM and proceeds go to club funds. Everybody is welcome to take part.
