Alpha Lotto – There was no outright winner of the weekly draw held on Sunday night in the Skule Inn. Letters drawn were R,M,L, and K . The following won the 7 X €20 prizes Josie Treanor, Magherarney, Kevin & Colette Kerr, Drumully – MD, Laura Connolly, Carnbane, Bridget Morrow, Kilcorn, Dermot Connolly, Mulladuff, Oliver Connolly, Dundalk, Fergie & Blake, Roslea . Congratulations and thanks to all our supporters and sellers. Next Sunday nights draw will be held in Bens Place.  The Jackpot will be €7,450.

Senior Training – Training continues every Wednesday and Friday for all players. Please check with mgt for times. With the league season commencing on Easter Sunday all players are asked to make a special effort to attend. Meanwhile the Junior B team are at home on Sunday next to Toome. Throw in 2pm.

Club Gear Bag – Orders are currently being taken from anyone who wants to purchase an Eire Og Club Gear Bag. The cost of the bag is €24. Money can be given to Margaret or Ciaran before March 29th.

Ladies Football – The club has the following positions to fill for the 2013 season. At management level the under 14,16 & 18’s are looking for managers and assistants. These positions need to be filled as soon as possible – if you are enthusiastic about further progressing ladies football within the club – please contact Enda McCluskey on 087 2381504

Poker Classic – Thanks to everyone who attended and purchased tickets for the poker classic held in the Skule Inn on Friday last. Many thanks to all who helped out on the night.

U-6, U-8 and U-10 Training – Training commences this Sunday 24th March at 11.30am in the main field.  New players and parents are very welcome.  N.B gum shields are now compulsory for all underage players, if a child is not wearing their gum shield they are not allowed to train.

U-12 – The under 12 recorded victory over Fergal O Hanlons in the first game of the Spring League on Saturday last.

U-14 – had a useful run out at home to Roslea on Monday last. Thanks to Roslea for travelling to Smithboro. The first game of the league is this Saturday, 23rd March with an away game to Latton at 12 noon. Bus is leaving the village at 10.45am.

Juvenile Registration – for all under 6, under 8 and under 10 boys and girls takes place tomorrow Friday 22nd March at 7pm in the club rooms. All players must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Congratulations – to Mary & Trevor Jordan, Killykeeragh on the birth of baby Millie.

Monaghan GAA Primary After Schools Programme – Donal Leonard, Caine Toal, Daragh Hamill, Jamie McMahon and Kian McAree got to play at halftime in Monahan’s National Football League in Clones against Wicklow on Saturday last. All the lads enjoyed the experience.

Well Done – to former senior player Mark McCaffrey who was recently awarded Senior Player of the year with his adapted club Fulham Irish in London.
