Mouthguards:
Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was passed that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. There is a clinic in Dundalk who make personally fitted mouthguards for people wishing to get them at €35 each. Contact 0874066041 to arrange an appointment.
Seniors:
Seniors are playing Latton in a challenge match Thursday evening at 7 in Corduff.
Junior Bs:
Juniors made a winning start to the year with a win away to Corduff last Sunday. They play their next game this Sunday 10th at home against Carrick at 12 o clock.
U16s + Minors:
U16 and minor training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45 in Donaghmoyne.
U14:
U14 training continues Monday evening at 5.30 in Donaghmoyne. All must attend.
U10s + U12s:
U10 and U12 training continues Saturday morning at 11 o clock.
Mini Fontenoys:
The minis are starting training for the year this Saturday the 9th March at 11 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All new children from the ages of u6s up to u10s are welcome. Every child must have a gumbshield otherwise they cannot participate. Cost is €2 per child. Also any parents willing to get involved in coaching are more than welcome.
GAA CUL Camps:
The GAA CUL Camp in Donaghmoyne this summer is taking place from Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August so keep this week free.
Coaching Courses:
There is an Under 8 Coaching Course taking place in the Patrician High School Carrickmacross on Thursday March 7th and 14th from 7.30 until 9.30. This course is free to anyone interested. Contact Colin on 0879090477 for details.
Ladies
Race Night:
The Race Night has been postponed until a later date but everyone is asked to keep selling. We ask everyone to kindly support the Race Night and to try and support our club as much as possible.
AGM:
The ladies Annual General Meeting is now taking place on Friday 29th of March at 9pm in the clubrooms.
