Strictly Come Dancing

We are now officially on the verge of selling out all tickets for the event.

So thank you very much for all who have purchased them.

We will make sure that you have a cracking night’s entertainment.

With that I am delighted to announce the following guest Judges that will appear on the night to mark our Dancers:

Mark McHugh, All Ireland winning player last year with Donegal.

Helen  Patterson, Professional Ballroom dancer and Coach from Inniskeen.

Oliver Callan, Inniskeen born professional Satirist and Star of RTE’s “Nob Nation.

Gavin Quigley, Our Professional Dance instructor for Strictly Come Dancing.

It promises to be a wonderful occasion.

Juvenile AGM took place on Jan 29th @ 8.30pm at Pairc Grattan and the following have been elected:

Juvenile Presentation Night

We are holding an awards night on behalf of our Juvenile players for 2012; it will take place on Feb 8th at 8pm in the Inniskeen Social hall.

Again please turn out to support the Girls and Boys.

Football,                                                                               

U12 will see us competing on two fronts in Zone C (11 a side with Carrick, Blaney, Donaghmoyne & Latton) and Zone D (9 a side with the same opposition)

U14 will see us In Division 1 (where we belong), 13 aside against Currin/Clones, Emyvale, Killanny, Magheracloone, The Harps, Scotstown & Truagh.

 

Training will commence on Wednesday 6th February at 7:30pm Sharp.

U16 will see us in Division 3, 13 aside against Aughnamullen, Clones, Eire Og, Emerald Sarsfields, Killeevan & Latton.

Training resumes Sunday 9th February at 12pm sharp.

Minors will also be kicking off in Division 3 against Blackhill, Blaney, Doohamlet, Corduff, Eire Og/Clones, Killeevan & Rock Emmets.

 

A Team meeting will take place in Pairc Grattan Dressing rooms at 1.30 after the U 16 Training on Sunday 9th of February.

All new players welcome!

Hurling,

U12 (11 aside) will see us in Division 1 against Carrick, Blaney, Clontibret, Cootehill, The Harps & Truagh

U 14 (13 aside) will also see us in Division 1 against Carrick, Blaney, Cootehill, Harps & Truagh

U 16 (13 aside) are in Division 1 against Carrick, Blaney, Clontibret, Cootehill, Harps, St.Felims (Cavan) & Truagh.

Again all new players welcome!

Mouth guards for underage players (Final Reminder):

Attention all parents, from this January onwards it will become compulsory from all players from Minor (U 18) down to wear mouth guards at both training and matches.

It is very important that all our players comply with this new regulation and are prepared for the new season ahead.

No player will be allowed to train without gum shield in place

Camogie Notes

Camogie Registration Evening for the upcoming year will take place on Wednesday 13th February at 7.30pm in the back room of the Social Centre in Inniskeen.

The registration fees are as follows:

Child (U7 to U18) €15

Child & Parent €20

Adult Player €30

Non Playing Member €5

It’s important that all players register on the evening as Croke Park requires details by the end of February.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

All new members (young & young at heart!!) are more than welcome to join.
