Lotto. The numbers drawn on Monday 14th January were 10, 11, 16 and 26. The Jackpot was not won and the following four players claimed fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip……Karen Nulty, Shercock, Francis McDermott, Shercock, Stephen McCabe, Shercock and Stephen Quigley, c/o The Dugout.
The next draw will be held on Monday 21st January in the clubrooms and the jackpot will be 7,500 euro.
Gala Dinner Dance. Remember Friday February 1st is the date for the Gala Dinner Dance. The venue is Cabra Castle and proceedings will begin with a five course meal, served at 8.00 sharp, followed by the presentation of medals to members of both the men’s and ladies’ senior teams. Only a small number of tickets remain for this club fund raiser.

Coaching Courses. Monaghan Coaching Committee have organised a series of three coaching evenings for all club coaches. Attendance is free of charge and all courses will be held at Cloghan. The themes for the sessions are Speed Endurance (Wednesday 23rd January), Developing Systems of play (Wednesday 6th February) and Games to Develop Football (Wednesday 13th February). All courses run from 7.30 to 9.00 and further information can be got from the club secretary.
Club Jackets. The club still has a number of jackets of various sizes available for sale to Magheracloone supporters. Contact the chairman or treasurer if you wish to purchase one.
New Regulations. From January 2013 it is compulsory for all players from minor level down to wear mouthguards during all games and training sessions. It is vital that all players and parents are aware of this new regulation which is being implemented nationwide. Referees will have the power to send off players that do not adhere to these new arrangements. This regulation will be extended to Under 21 and senior level in 2014.
Annual Mass for Deceased Members. The Mass for deceased members of the club will be celebrated on Saturday 19th January at 7.00 p.m. in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Lower Magheracloone.
