Lotto. The numbers drawn on Monday 7th January were 8, 15, 23 and 25. The Jackpot was not won and the following four players claimed fifty euro each in the Lucky Dip……H. and P. Finnegan, Ann O’Reilly, 7, Lisdrumskeagh, H. and P. Finnegan and Elizabeth McCaul, Magheracloone.

The next draw will be held on Monday 14th January in the clubrooms and the jackpot will be 7,400 euro.

The Chairman and Executive wish to thank all the Lotto players for their support in 2012 and hope that 2013 will be a happy year for all.

Gala Dinner Dance.   Remember Friday February 1st is the date for the Gala Dinner Dance. The venue is Cabra Castle and proceedings will begin with a five course meal, served at 8.00 sharp, followed by the presentation of medals to members of both the men’s and ladies’ senior  teams. Only a small number of tickets remain for what promises to be a night to remember.

Club Jackets. The club still has a number of jackets of various sizes available for sale to Magheracloone supporters. Contact the chairman or treasurer if you wish to purchase one.

New Regulations. From January 2013 it is compulsory for all playersfrom minor level down to wear mouthguards during all games and training sessions. It is vital that all players and parents are aware of this new regulation which is being implemented nationwide. This regulation will be extended to Under 21 and senior level in 2014.

Sympathy. The club extends its sympathy to the family of the late Sheila O’ Reilly, Drumbo, who died shortly before Christmas. The GAA grounds in Magheracloone are named after her late husband, Kevin, who was a stalwart supporter of the club over many years. May she rest in peace.

Annual Mass for Deceased Members. The Mass for deceased members of the club will be celebrated on Saturday 19th January at 7.00 p.m. in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Lower Magheracloone.
