Mouthguards:
Following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was passed that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for allage grades up to and including minor and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014.
Lotto Sellers:
There will be lotto sellers calling to all homes in the parish within the next week or two selling lotto tickets for the club lotto. We would like to ask everyone to kindly support the lotto and the club as it is the main fundraising source within the club and this year there are developments taking place on the club grounds and we need to raise money to fund this development. Any children that would be interested in selling lottos can contact any club member. Commission will be paid to every child for every lotto they sell. We thank everyone who has kindly supported the lotto so far and look forward to your continued support.
Recently Deceased:
The club would like to extend its sympathies to David Lennon and his family on the death of his cousin Michelle Mc Cabe. R.I.P
Welcome:
The club welcomes Eamon Burns into the Senior Management set up. Eamon joins up with last years management team of David Lennon as team manager and Paddy Mc Nally and Seamus Mc Bride as selectors.
Seniors:
Senior training this Friday at 7.45p.m. in Lisdoonan Centre. All must attend.
Carrickmacross Lions Club:
The Carrickmacross Lions Club are organising a Suicide Awareness course in conjunction with the HSE. The course targets are to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. This training is suitable for everyone who wants to help prevent suicide and is prepared to become a suicide alert helper. It is scheduled to take place on Thursday the 7th of February in the Shirley Arms Hotel. To book your place on the course, call 0870560393. Allianz League Predictions Competition:
With the start of the Allianz National Football and Hurling Leagues this weekend a competition has been set up called the Allianz League Predictions. This competition takes place for all the rounds of the national leagues where players go online and predict the scores in all the matches. The player with the most points at the end of the of all the rounds will receive €500 for themselves and €2000 for their GAA club. To register log on to

Dinner Dance:
