Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on 6^th January 2013.  Numbers Drawn were: 4-16-25-27.  Lucky Dip Winners: Thomas Martin, Monaghan, Brenda Rafferty, 7 Crossmore Green, Keady, J&P Malone, Croghan House, Annyalla and Patsy McElroy, Annyalla.  The Jackpot stands at €7,000 and this weekend’s draw will take place in the Social Club on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

Mouthguards

Important: Please Note that following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1^st 2013 (for all age grades up to and including minor) and at U21 and Adult level from January 1^st 2014.  It is important that all players comply with this new regulation and are prepared for their first training session of the new season.

DEFIBRILLATOR UPDATE

The new RESERVE batteries have been installed and the current version of the devices Battery Management Software has been downloaded on to BOTH our AEDs. So our Defibrillators have the up -to-date current software successfully installed.  The new updated manual is in each AED and card attached to handle with instructions on inserting a new Battery pack if required.  The protocol and use of AED in an emergency remains the same as learned in training!
