AGM A well attended meeting was held in club house last Friday night with wide range of reports from our secretary, treasurer,chairman and team managers,the highlight having Mick Duffy cup on the table, It was appreciated all the hard work that went on at the club during the year at all levels and especially coming up to the County championship. Well done to our senior, U21,minor and juvenile teams. It was recorded the generous sponsorship of Gerry and Deidre Mc Elroy and to all who give generously. Election of officers, our Chairman and treasurer announced they were stepping down, Martin Gleeson was elected new chairperson all other positions remained the same with treasurer and other positions to be announced at a later date. The club would like to put on record its appreciation of all the work Damien done in his position of chair over the last 2 years and especially in our championship year.
Juveniles:A meeting will be held next Thursday 13th for all juveniles parents in Pearse Bros.Centre at 8pm sharp to plan for the new year ahead. Parents are asked to make every effort to attend.
The juvenile committee want to wish Damien Macklin all the best and thank him for all his help and support over the past two years.
Club Membership
A new initiative to increase club membership was also discussed at the AGM. More details later. Everyone is asked to pay their membership promptly to ease the job of the membership committee.
