Castleblayney are through to the semi-finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Club Minor Football Championship after they battled past Fermanagh champions St. Pat’s, Donagh in Belfast on Sunday. The Faughs won a fiery quarter-final by 1-15 to 2-8, so they will now return to St. Paul’s on Sunday, December 16 to play Killeavy of Armagh. There was no luck, however, for the Scotstown minor ladies, who lost their Ulster quarter-final against Killeshil from Tyrone.
