Cultural Night:
Our monthly traditional Irish Music session took place last Friday. As this was a Trad for Trócaire event, a huge thank you is due to all who made a donation. A healthy sum was raised, and is very much appreciated. In addition, thank you to all who provided spotprizes & food, and to all who helped out on the night: Paula, Margot, Joe, Roisin, Sean & Monica.
This was a fantastic night’s entertainment, with Ceile Dancing & 6-hand reels, from our local dancers, some of whom are the current All Ireland champions. Our local musicians also turned out in force, plus musicians from Emyvale, Clones, Corcaghan C.C.É. and Monaghan C.C.É. A terrific night was had by all.
So remember to keep the 2nd Friday free, next session takes place on Friday 9th November. We look forward to seeing you all there. Everyone welcome!
