Scotstown 2-13, Donaghmoyne 1-15 (after extra time).
It took twenty minutes of extra time to separate these very evenly matched teams in this highly entertaining and at times very exciting replay that built to an exhilarating finish in Oram on Saturday afternoon last. Ultimately it was a goal by Kieran Treanor with just two minutes of extra time remaining that propelled Scotstown to victory but this was a game that could have gone either way and was in the balance throughout. In normal time it looked as if Scotstown would hold out after they opened a four points lead going into the final quarter, having led by 1-5 to 0-6 at haldf time, but Donaghmoyne struck back in the final five minutes for a goal by Shane Garland and a point by Mickey Murnaghan from a free to force extra time with the score at 1-10 apiece. Donaghmoyne then went on to lead by a point at half-time in extra time before Scotstown struck the decisive blow with a goal by Kieran Treanor and while Donaghmoyne reduced the margin to the minimum in the final minute time just simply ran out for them.
