U10 & U8 Blitz
U8 and u10 football finished up last Saturday with a very successful and enjoyable tournament in Clontibret. Drumhowan, Cremartin and Doohamlet joined hosts Clontibret, with each entering two u8 and u10 teams. It was a great day’s football with the favourable weather adding to the occasion. Many thanks to Fergal Mone, the chief organiser, to Marty Corey, Colm, Kieran and all who helped out on the day. A special thanks to our four young referees who did a brilliant job; Jack Gormley, Aaron McGuigan, Killian Lavelle and Conor Boyle. Thanks to the club for all their effort in organising this blitz and for providing medals and refreshments for the players after.
Best wishes to our u10 team who will play at half time of the county final in Clones this Sunday.
U13 Blitz
Well done to our u13s who acquitted themselves brilliantly last Thursday in their blitz in Cloghan. Thanks to Seamus Duffy and Sean Michael McSkeane for their help with this team on the evening.

Hurling
Clontibret 3-10 Na Magha 3-16
There was disappointment for the hurlers Sunday evening. They showed great determination against a more experienced side. The boys cannot be disheartened as they played with great character. Up to the last 5 minutes it could have went either way only for 2 late goals from Na Magha. Overall it was a great team performance with a great display from Arthur Morgan and Fergal Greenan.
The hurling club would like to wish the boys good luck in the football championship on Sunday.
