Minors: The minor footballers are preparing for their championship semi-final, which will be played away to Scotstown on Saturday week (September 15) at 3.30.

Reserves: The O’Duffy Cup team got a walkover from Truagh last Wednesday, guaranteeing us a play-off for a place in the semi-finals.

U-16: The Under-16 footballers begin their championship campaign this evening Thursday at home to Scotstown. The game throws in at 6pm and all support would be welcome. Good luck to Brian, Gary, Nicholas, Gearóid and the players.

U-14: The Under-14 Division One team are preparing for their league semi-final away to Scotstown, which is set for Saturday week (September 15).

Recreational football: Plans are well underway for our hosting of a recreational/Over-35 football tournament on Saturday, September 22 in memory of deceased club members. All members are asked for their support for what promises to be a great club day. Keep an eye on the notes, website etc. for more information.

Sponsored walk: The juvenile club’s annual sponsored walk takes place on Saturday, September 29 and sponsorship forms are being handed out at the moment. All support welcome.

Aido file: It was a disappointing day for our Under-12s who lost out in the league semi-final against Castleblayney last week. A tough day out but keep the Harps flag flying, lads! Best of luck to our senior hurlers who head to the Kilmacud mini sevens for the All-Ireland weekend. May it be a weekend to remember!

Hurling fundraiser: Well done to everyone involved in the Hurling Club’s fundraising pool exhibition between former World Snooker champion Ken Doherty and Irish pool champion Seán Hoey in Tír na nÓg last Friday. A great night was had by all.

Birthday wishes: Happy birthday to Paul Kelly who turned 21 last week and Finbarr Conlon, who also celebrated a significant birthday last week.
